Rolls-Royce is set to unveil its latest unique creation, the Spectre Semaphore, at The Quail next week during the renowned Monterey Car Week. This one-of-a-kind vehicle, a stunning adaptation of the brand’s first electric model, dazzles with its striking Semaphore Yellow finish and distinctive hood artwork.
The Spectre Semaphore’s vibrant yellow hue not only covers the exterior but is also mirrored inside, where the upholstery features similar yellow tones throughout the cabin. The vehicle’s hood boasts a remarkable design, described by Rolls-Royce as a “Marbled Paint Spill,” symbolizing a nod to California’s rich and varied landscapes. This artwork uses a silver lacquer layered under a clear coat, creating the illusion of liquid chrome flowing seamlessly from the iconic Pantheon grille across the hood. Crafting this intricate piece took more than 160 hours of painstaking work.
Inside, the cabin reflects the bold exterior with an interplay of Lemon Yellow and Citrine Yellow adorning the seats, door panels, and dashboard. These bright hues are complemented by accents in Grace White and Slate Grey, along with Lemon Yellow stitching. The digital displays are also color-coordinated to match the vibrant exterior theme. The interior’s elegance is further enhanced by wood trim painted in Cashmere Grey, with silver mica flakes adding a sparkling finish.
While the exterior and interior have received these lavish custom touches, the Spectre Semaphore’s electric powertrain remains unchanged.
It retains its impressive dual-motor setup, delivering 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, ensuring both luxury and performance. Although Rolls-Royce has not disclosed the price for this bespoke commission, it is expected to be significantly higher than the base model of the electric Spectre coupe, which starts at $422,750.
Monterey Car Week is a prestigious event where the world’s most exclusive automotive brands gather on the California coast, showcasing their latest innovations to an audience of affluent enthusiasts. Rolls-Royce’s early reveal of the Spectre Semaphore highlights their commitment to pushing the boundaries of luxury and design in the automotive industry.
