Our services can change depending on the type of vehicle, which will also have an impact on your quote. For example: collector, exotic, or luxury cars are usually more pricey. As a result, these may cost more to safely ship. If you don’t happen to know all the specific information for your car, check your registration or insurance information! It should be written there for you.
Transport Type
The type of transport that we use to ship your vehicle can also impact the quote. We have multiple shipping methods, including:
Open: With this method, we will ship your car on an open trailer. It will be loaded along with other vehicles. There’s a slight chance your vehicle will be exposed to weather conditions or dust along the way. But, Open transport is still a safe and commonly used method, which is usually our least expensive option!
Enclosed: With this method of transport, we will ship your vehicle in a completely covered trailer. This gives your vehicle that bit of extra protection from any dust, debris, or weather issues along the way. While this method is a tad more expensive, it is highly recommended for exotic or luxury cars.

Whether your vehicle is running or not is a factor that can change the cost of its shipping. Why? It could be more difficult to load if your vehicle is not running. For that reason, the shipping expense will be higher.

We also need you to provide us with the date of pickup. This will help us determine the quote of our services. Portland Car Transport provides expedited services to ship your vehicle faster. However, this method can be more expensive. We will do our best to make the dates you request work for our business. But, the time frame you select will contribute to determining your quote.
